Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use the Iptvora app and the iptvora.com website, and how we use it. Contact: support@iptvora.com.

1. What we do not provide

Iptvora is a media player. We do not host or provide any channels or content. The app plays sources that you add from your own provider.

2. Data that stays on your device

The following is stored on your device and is not sent to us, except your playlists if you choose to save them to your account (section 3):

• Playlist links and EPG sources you add.
• Your provider username and password, kept in the device secure storage.
• Favorites, watch history, resume positions and settings.

The app connects directly to your provider's servers to play content. We do not see those connections.

3. Data we collect when you create an account

An account is optional. It links your devices and unlocks paid features. You sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email, without a password. We receive and store:

• Your email address, plus your name and Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Information about devices linked to your account: device name, operating system, model, app version and last seen time.
• The status of your paid features. When you buy on WhatsApp, we keep the payment reference and your account email to activate Premium. We never ask for your card details.

We never store a password for your Iptvora account. For email sign-in we send you a one-time code and keep only a hash of it, for 10 minutes.

Playlists saved to your account (optional)

If you turn on "Save my playlists to my account" in the app (a Premium feature), we store for each playlist: its name, your provider's server address, the playlist link or your provider username and password, and the stream format. This stays off until you turn it on.

• We store them encrypted (AES-256), with a key that is not kept in the database.
• Only devices linked to your account receive them. Your account page on the website shows their names, servers and end dates; a password or link appears only when you ask for it, right after a fresh sign-in.
• You can add a playlist from your account page on the website; it appears on your devices when you open the app.
• When you remove a playlist on one of your devices we delete its data and keep only its identifier, so your other devices remove it too.
• Turning the option off deletes all your saved playlists from our servers at once; they stay on your devices.

4. Technical data

When the app or website contacts our servers, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the service.

We do not use advertising identifiers or third-party analytics or tracking tools in the app.

Ads

The free version of the app may show ads chosen by the Iptvora team itself, with no ad networks. We count how often each ad is shown, clicked and closed as daily totals only, never linked to you or your device. If an ad image is hosted on another website, the TV loads it from there, and that site sees the device's IP address.

Online subtitles

When you search for subtitles in the player, we send the title you are watching through our server to OpenSubtitles. The TV then downloads the file you choose directly from OpenSubtitles, which sees the device's IP address. This only happens when you ask for a search.

5. How we use data

• To sign you in and link your devices.
• To show your saved playlists on your devices, if you turned that on.
• To unlock paid features you bought.
• To answer your messages and protect the service from abuse.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

6. Who processes data with us

• Cloudflare: hosting, database and protection.
• Google: Sign in with Google.
• Resend: sending sign-in codes to your email.
• OpenSubtitles: subtitle search and download, only when you ask for it.
• WhatsApp (Meta): the chats you start with us, purchase requests included.

We may disclose data when a binding legal request requires it.

7. Deleting your account and data

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@iptvora.com from the address linked to your account. We delete account data within 30 days, saved playlists included. You can delete just the saved playlists at once by turning off "Save my playlists to my account" in the app. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Security

All connections to our servers are encrypted with HTTPS, we store sign-in tokens and email codes only as one-way hashes, and playlists saved to your account are encrypted.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and announce important changes in the app or on the website.
